Each year, since 1964, DNV Business Assurance, a world-leading certification organization announces what's known as its Automotive Executive of the Year Award to a deserving person for his or her excellent in the automotive industry leadership.
And for the 2013 award ceremony, we at Fox Hyundai couldn't be more thrilled to announce that Hyundai North American CEO, John Krafcik, has earned the honor.
Lauded for his contributions to many new projects as well as the substantial increase of popularity for new Hyundai models since we first started in 2004, Mr. Krafcik has said he is quite humbled to be the recipient of the Automotive Executive of the Year Award, selflessly adding, "I accept this award on behalf of the Hyundai team members, dealers, and suppliers, many of whom are in the room today. Congratulations, everyone!"1
We at Fox Hyundai believe this year's Automotive Executive of the Year Award are quite indicative of the success Hyundai has demonstrated over the past years. What's more, we believe Mr. Krafcik is incredibly deserving of the honor due to his tremendous leadership and subsequent win of two North American Car of the Year Awards for the Hyundai Genesis and Elantra in 2009 and 2012. And, his orchestration of the proper re-labeling of Hyundai fuel economy ratings, late last year.
