What's New on the 2025 Hyundai IONIQ 5?
There are plenty of changes onboard the 2025 IONIQ 5. You will find that its larger battery pack reaches 84-kWh now, an upgrade over 77.4-kWh. Additionally, the range of the vehicle is now up to 318 miles on a single charge. It also adopts a new charging port to allow you to charge in more places, plus there's the new XRT trim, which offers a rugged ride thanks to higher riding height, off-road tires, and more. There are also updates to the front and rear bumpers, spoilers, and it adds a rear windshield wiper to enhance visibility.

Performance
The Hyundai IONIQ 5 offers multiple electric motor choices. These include:
- A 245-mile all-electric range option on the IONIQ 5 SE Standard Range using rear wheel drive
- A 259-mile all-electric range with all-wheel drive on the Hyundai IONIQ 5 XRT
- A 290-mile all-electric range with all-wheel drive on all other trim levels
- A 318-mile all-electric range with rear-wheel drive on all other trim levels
The IONIQ 5 SE Standard Range has a 168-horsepower 125-kW electric motor, while the rear-wheel drive options use a 168-kW single motor to produce 225 horsepower. Each AWD option has a 74-kW motor and a 165-kW motor to power both axles for 320 horsepower. These provide quality cruising speeds in various driving settings and can be charged using standard public charging stations or fast charging stations, along with a Level 2 at-home charger, which you can have installed at your home.
