The new Hyundai IONIQ 9 has three different powertrain options. A rear-wheel drive choice with a single-motor offers 215 horsepower, while the all-wheel drive option provides a second electric motor and offers 303 horsepower. For those who want to amp the performance up you can choose a 422-horsepower all-wheel drive option. All options use a 110.3-kWh battery, and offers standout stability and smooth handling. It's estimated that drivers can reach a range of 311 to 335 miles on a single charge, depending on the model you choose. You can also charge up in around 24 minutes from 10 to 80 percent using a DC fast charging options.
If you're looking to bring along a small camper or watercraft, the Hyundai IONIQ 9 is capable of towing up to 3,500 pounds.
Interior Comfort
As a spacious three-row vehicle, the Hyundai IONIQ 9 offers three rows of seating, as the second row can be either a bench for seating for eight, or captain's chairs for seating for seven. Passengers will have plenty of room, and interior materials are made of sustainable plastics, synthetic leather, and suede to give you comfort and an upscale feel. You'll find 22 cubic feet of space behind the third row, up to 46 cubic feet when you fold down the rear seats and even more with the second row folded down.
