Continuing its winning streak in brilliant fashion, the 2016 Hyundai Veloster was given a Best Value in America award by Vincentric, an automotive research firm that specializes in cost-of-ownership for the car industry. This award brings the Veloster to its fourth year running as a Best Value in America award recipient, but it is sharing some of the glory this year, because the 2016 Hyundai Elantra was also given this fine distinction. The award criteria for the Vincentric Best Value Awards is broken down into eight different areas of ownership costs: depreciation, fuel, insurance, financing, repairs, opportunity cost, maintenance, and fees and taxes. The vehicles awarded are found to have lower-than-expected cost of ownership when held against competitors. The Veloster uses some cutting-edge technologies to optimize its appeal by combining great fuel economy, vigorous performance, and low emissions, so drivers don’t have to compromise anywhere. The Elantra also offers extra value in the saturated sub-compact category, making it another great choice for shoppers.
