This year we celebrate, the fifth largest automaker in the world, Hyundai. Once starting out as a small car company selling its first and only car, the Excel, the Hyundai brand would blossom into a lineup of 14 diverse vehicles with more than 10 million units sold.
Recent accomplishments include the newly launched luxury brand – Genesis, and a top ranking spot in the USA TODAY Ad Meter for the Super Bowl 50 commercial. It is clear Hyundai is making headlines and has no intention on stopping. Not too shabby for 30 years.
"Our vision for future mobility focuses on choice, with a variety of vehicle options – from our all-new luxury brand Genesis to our advanced alternative-fuel vehicles like the all-new IONIQ," said Hyundai Motor America President and CEO, Dave Zuchowski. "We are challenging automotive paradigms to reflect customers' varied lifestyles, without compromising on design, safety, technology or driving enjoyment."
