The Santa Fe comes with the Safe Exit Assist System as a standard safety feature. This system enhances your passenger’s safety by monitoring for vehicles that are approaching from the rear. If a vehicle is detected when a passenger tries to open the door, the system will issue a visual and audible alert.
Another standard safety feature that is offered with the Santa Fe is Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance (RCCA). This system uses radar sensors from the Blind Spot Detection System to detect for vehicles that are approaching from either side when you are in reverse. This system can apply the automatic brakes when necessary to avoid impact.
