Some of these new features include Hyundai Digital Key 2, now standard, which allows drivers to lock, unlock, and start the vehicle using a smartphone or smartwatch, and supports multiple users. Fingerprint authentication is also available for driver profiles.
The trim level lineup is restructured as the SEL Convenience is renamed to SEL Premium, and the new entry-level hybrid trim (Blue SE) is introduced. These adjustments make the lineup easier to navigate while expanding access to hybrid models.
Drives will also find the 2026 Tucson Hybrid and Plug-In Hybrid are taking center stage, as people look for efficient options, giving you plenty of power with 231 horsepower of combined output, and up to 38 miles per gallon combined. Gas options still attain 187 horsepower.
There are also improvements like increased towing capability for certain gas models and new terrain modes for off-road-oriented trims like XRT.
