Although only two model years old, Hyundai has unveiled a handsome visual update for the 2018 Sonata. A popular family sedan, the Korean automaker hasn’t just made their midsize offering more good-looking, but has also incorporated new features to make it more upscale and fun to drive dynamics.
The most noticeable visual change can be seen in front, with a cascading grille look similar to the new Elantra. Sport 2.0T models get a mesh pattern, along with vertical daytime running lights, a flat-bottomed steering wheel, and twin exhaust tips. Powertrains mostly carry over, but there are new steering calibrations and thicker torsion bars. In the cabin, upscale materials have been added, as well as a variety of new gadgets.
